Draconic Charts

Draconic Charts are based on an alternative calculation of your original natal/birth chart. The location of your North Node in your natal chart is relocated to what is known as the "Aries Point" which is essentially the cusp of Pisces and Aries (Ari 0' 00").

So with the relocating of your North Node placement to the Aries cusp the 12 signs of the Zodiac also change position in motion with the North Node. Take note though that none of the planets in your original natal chart change position or angular aspects in relation to each other (i.e. conjunctions, oppositions, squares, etc.) Once again, only the 12 signs change positions not the planets.

So what is the significance of a Draconic chart? Well, your North Node placement in the signs and houses tells about what qualities you are lacking and where your soul longs to gain more experience to broaden your prospective on life. The Draconic chart is a more complete evaluation of the North Node placement. The chart on the whole could be considered your souls purpose. I like to think of it as our superhero like alter ego.

        I at one time owned a window washing business. I was introduced to the industry by a man well versed in the art of sales. He always stressed that it wasn't so much how well you washed windows, but how well could relate to and befriend your clients.

        I didn't trust that outlook... I figured that it was completely based on how comprehensive your service was. Did you leave an inordinate amount of smudges and streaks on the windows? Did you wash every window that was mentioned in your contracts? Did you leave water on the floor or treat store patrons rudely?

        Without a doubt, these examples above are an integral part of a successful window washing business but I would say it only accounts for twenty-five percent of your actual duties. The other seventy-five percent is based on people skills.

        I had worked with my sales mentor to get his own window washing business off the ground. Everyday, we would go to various storefronts and office buildings and solicit work. Sometimes we would reverse roles in where I would appear to be the sales manager and he would record information. 

        It took me a while to catch on to sales... I thought there was a very rigid formula for success. So I went with a war-bent attitude to conquer as many accounts as we could handle. In a very grim and frank way I asked to speak with store management. Never with a smile on my face - I thought "these people are professionals, they don't want some happy-go-lucky kid trying to sell them a service."

        So after a year or so... I went off to start my own business. As a sign of gratitude for helping start my mentors own business, he put together a little bundle of sales tools for me. Within the various binders and sales journals - there was a paperback book entitled: How to Win Friends & Influence People.

J Is For Jovial

        Hey yall', this is my first entry into my brand spanking new blogger.com site. Just gonna kinda use this as a forum to get some ideas off my chest. A place to discuss, debate and ponder over a plethora of randomness.

J Is For Jovial:

        I've kinda got into the habit of noticing some odd instances of synchronicity. This led to title of my blog: "J Is For Jovial..." I just kinda sat back and thought about all the people I know whose name begins with the letter J. I've come to the conclusion that J is indeed for jovial. According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary jovial is defined as: 

 "Markedly good-humored especially as evidenced by jollity and conviviality." 

        Jester and joker could also be applied when describing J natives. This brings up images of Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter. And who better to fit the roll than another J affiliate.

         
        There are very few instances in my opinion where the attribute of jolliness is not expressed in people whose name begins with J. Test my theory... observe your J named friends and family member's attitudes - ask them if the term jovial or jolly applies to them. I'm sure you will get a wide smile and an agreeable "YES!"
